Site Team Win Health & Safety Award
Posted: Friday 4th October 2024
Congratulations to the team at our Misery development in Bursledon! They were recently selected as the winners of a Health & Safety Site Award.
This award, presented by Chris Turner, our Health and Safety Manager, recognises sites that demonstrate a strong commitment to both the training and development of their team, ensuring high safety standards.
Headed up by Site Manager, John Sims, and supported by Assistant Site Manager, Mark Lows and Trainee Assistant Site Managers, Bradley Lupton and Daisy Read, the team are currently working on the construction of 92 properties at the site based in Bursledon. Once finished, it will be a community that can be enjoyed for generations to come with excellent access to both local amenities and the surrounding countryside.
We are also proud to announce that we are once again working in partnership with VIVID, a leading provider of affordable homes and extensive support services in the South of England.
Chris said, "For the month of September, the team at Misery has done an outstanding job, creating a site that truly deserves the Foreman Homes HSE Site Award. They've provided a safe working environment, encouraged open communication, supported one another, improved quality to a higher standard, and refused to tolerate unsafe working practices."
A big well done to John, Mark, Bradley, Daisy, and the whole team – we're incredibly proud of you. This award is a well-deserved recognition of all your hard work, but it's your dedication to keeping the site safe and looking out for each other that really sets you apart.
Keep up the fantastic work, and continue setting a high standard for health and safety across all our developments.
