Dunsbury Way Permission Granted

We are delighted to announce that in February, we received reserved matters approval for a new development in Havant. The scheme, located on Dunsbury Way, will transform the brownfield site into 74 dwellings. This approval marks a significant step for the area by regenerating the disused plot which has sat empty for several years. Situated on a prominent corner intersecting with Fulflood Road, the redevelopment is well positioned to bring new life to the area.

The new development will be delivered on behalf of Vivid, a leading provider of affordable homes and extensive support services in the South of England, having worked with them across a number of our developments previously to provide support and customer care for our affordable home customers.

The development will deliver 100% affordable housing, helping to address the rising requirements for accommodation in the local community. The properties will be made up of one- and two-bedroom apartments – providing modern and affordable living spaces for a variety of customers.

The design features a singular 'L' shaped apartment building that will extend to four storeys. The development will also include a communal amenity space for residents to enjoy and additional landscaping along the southern boundary that will help to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the development.

Additionally, the site's location offers excellent options for accessibility to local transport and amenities. Residents will be within walking distance of local schools, shops and entertainment venues which provides a convenient and connected lifestyle. Further to this, the development is positioned along a main bus route, ensuring seamless public transport links to the surrounding Hampshire area helping to integrate the new scheme into the broader community.

Overall, this development will not only breathe new life into a long-vacant site but will also significantly contribute to the local housing supply with highly desired affordable homes. We're thrilled to have received reserved matters approval for the site and eager to get started on construction.
